Abstract
The development of science-fiction has already reached its peak and has now turned to a new type of fiction called Mathematical Fiction, in which mathematics plays the major role. Mathematics replacing science provides
spanking novels. It also involves the themes and techniques of the novels. This paper discusses how the novel Denis Guedj’s The Parrot’s Theorem converts mathematical wisdom into fine fiction. This novel makes use of mathematics as its background. Almost every mathematical event is discussed through the characters. A complete history of mathematics is perfectly woven with the main plot of the novel.
